Endorsed by the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport (MCGES), the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC), and the Ministry of Tourism, the inaugural Dancehall Week took over Jamaica from February 13-19, 2024, during the government of Jamaica’s established Reggae Month Celebration.

Now in its 2nd year, the organizers of Dancehall Week launched its new calendar of events designated to highlight and celebrate numerous aspects of the dancehall culture. There will also be the reveal of ‘Dancehall Village’ at Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre in Kingston, which will be available for tours, seminars, workshops, and events from Sunday, February 23, 2025 – Sunday, March 2, 2025.
